Kristin Fisher joined CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent team in the month of July 2021. As the Space and Defence Correspondent at CNN, she is responsible for covering all aspects of space, from NASA and its recently created Space Force up until commercial space companies, and even the advent and growth in space travel. Kristin is the daughter two NASA Astronauts. Kristin has grown up with the space industry as well as covered Trump and Biden Administration space policies for FOX News as White House Correspondent. She also covered the 2020 presidential race as well as the efforts of two administrations to combat the coronavirus. Kristin travelled extensively, both with the president and vice-president. The reporter even took an extremely secret trip to Afghanistan alongside Donald Trump. Kristin was a local television reporter in Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., where she earned an Emmy Award for her work as an "one-man-band" reporter prior to being hired by CBS in 2015. Kristin began Field Mouse Films with her skills behind the camera back in the year 2014. Field Mouse Films specialized in producing documentaries for corporate clients, which included Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin earned her Bachelor of Science Diploma in Journalism from Boston University. She and her husband reside at Washington, D.C., and is the mother of a 3-year-old daughter.
